Bhima Kali Monument

A famous Temple of Sarahan, Himachal Pradesh, India named Shri Bhima Kali Temple dedicated to Goddess Bhima Kali, presiding deity of the then princely Bushahr State palace, which is walk away distance from the temple site, one of 51 Shakti Peethas, where it is believed the ear of the Sati fell at this place. It is situated 180 KM from Shimla and Sarahan being the gate way of Kinnaur circuit. The date of visit recorded as 30.05.2012

The temple architecture is unique in a sense that it has been built with huge wood carvings and in the complex also includes Lord Siva, Goddess Parvati, Lord Raghunath, Narsingh and Patal Bhairva. There is a well-equipped Guest House run by Temple authority where we got the privilege to stay and begin our Kinnaur circuit tour organised by a reputed Kolkata based Travel Agency.
