Confluence of Zanskar & Indus Rivers

Writer: Atanu ChatterjeeAtanu Chatterjee

A prominent Himalayas river confluence, known as Zanskar and Indus rivers meeting near Nimmu village in Leh & Ladhak, Jammu and Kashmir, India. The Zanskar river originates from Zanskar range of Himalaya, which is flowing from the left with blue color; and the Indus also from Changthang range of high Himalaya shining with mud color flowing from almost right. Both joins to create a beautiful scenic settlement to attract the tourist and visitors in a big way. A remarkable experience to touch the cold water flow.
