Coral Gate Architecture

The Coral Gate is a natural rock formation located at Laxmanpur Beach (Locals call it as the Howrah Bridge) in the Neil Island within Andaman & Nicobar Islands territory, about 35 KM from Port Blair and easily accessible on foot at Neil Island during low tide, so the timing is important to reach the spot, we arrived there on 20.10.2017 at noon. Whenever Andaman tour itinerary is promoted this natural rock picture preferred as obvious choice because of its unique formation which is synonymous with Andaman identity. However, my prime focus which is exactly opposite to frontal view, although the other pics convey front view. A wonderful opportunity to watch sea life, lots of corals, ornamental fish, sea urchins, cucumbers, star fish, anemone, snail, crabs etc. It is advisable to engage one local guide reaching the spot for details explanation and identification of rich sea life at display, a memorable destination.
