One of the magnificent, largest and oldest Dzong of the Kingdom of Bhutan, popular as ‘Punakha Dzong’ even known as Pungthang Dewachen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). It is located about 3 hours drive from capital Thimpu, situated in between Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers with different colours of flow. An arched wooden bridge joins the Dzong and the surrounding lawns bears lovely jacaranda trees which bloom during spring to create mesmerising view. A picture perfect photographic serenity to watch and record its beautiful vibration at display on 29.04.2017. Inside architecture and artefacts has special relevance within Bhutanese cultural heritage
