Sledging destiny

A natural meadow under snow cover, surrounded by forest of pine and fir, although a prime location famous as Gulmarg, altitude 8,695 ft at Jammu and Kashmir, India.

A close encounter with one of the old winter sport sledging in action. It is a flat wooden board taken to the hill top and then allowed to fall and slide down on the snow covered slopes at natural accelerated speed without navigation.
