Tawang War Memorial

It is ‘Tawang War Memorial’ locals call it ‘Namgyal Chortan’ built in memory of 2420 martyrs (individual names inscribe on 36 black granite's) the brave soldiers of Indian Army who scarifies there life in the Indo-China War of 1962, located at Tawang (Tawang-Chu Valley) Arunachal Pradesh, India. Every Indian visiting the memorial admire the heroic deeds and spirit of the soldiers through displayed pictures, artifacts, maps, arms and ammunition's even belongings. Visited in between 5 th to 11 th October' 2011

The ‘second picture’ added to pronounce what is inscribed “In the memory of those brave soldiers who made supreme sacrifice defending the frontier of Mother Land during the 1962 Sino-Indo war”I Salute their contribution and Jai Hind!
