An attractive location at top of the hillock about 3,600 mts (11,811 ft) altitude, belongs to Thiksey Monastery in Ley & Ladhak region. Thiksey means ‘perfect order’ one of the famous monastery and memorable site about Buddhism practice. There are statues, panoramic view of the Indus Valley, inside Maitreya Buddha, temples, scriptures, accommodation for monks, nuns & halls etc visited the site on 30.05.2015 at 9.40 AM
