Writer's picture: Atanu ChatterjeeAtanu Chatterjee

In the first week of June’19 with fever and vomiting symptom taken consultations by local doctor, who effectively diagnosis high WBC count and some test parameter like CRPQ, SGOT & Bilirubin result was not normal. The Doctor informed over phone, who advised for immediate medical intervention on 7 th June’19 evening. Within 2 hours left to get admitted at APOLLO, all managed by my wife, including referring by DVC Authority. On arrival at Emergency approved admission and treated w.e.f. 08.06.19 to 24.06.19

Finally diagnosed with ’Amebic Liver Abscess’ while shifted to ICU thereafter to MMU and cabin, treated by general medicine, done US guided aspiration by Radiologist, consulted Gastroenterology, administered antibiotic.

As a result suffered about 14 kg loss of weight and this experience is extraordinary, when for the first time got admitted at a Hospital. The treatment was comprehensive and good. Thanks to the concern Doctors & DVC for support and allow cashless facilities. Appreciate the role of my two friends in particular.
