A favorite winter flower, name came from Greek words anti (like) and rhin (nose) together Antirrhinum, also known as Snapdragonor Dog-flower, do represent both deception and grace, belongs to 'Plantaginaceae' family while appears fascinating and cordial in expression.

I created a post on this flower way back in 2012 where you can view my real plan and momentary progress at that moment, the link: http://avibration.blogspot.in/2012/02/beauty-charms-of-antirrhinum-garden13.html

Grow: One of my favorite choices and try to give prominence to Antirrhinum whenever winter variety seedlings or transplants are arranged. Although, it is sensitive to manage at an early stage but comes in a good variety of color with difference in heights, while the dwarf variety is preferred. Do grown under close watch, prepared soil, regulated fertilizer, application of fungicides and insecticides, proper drainage. The flowers are short lived, have upright stems with lipped tubular beautiful flowers. At this picture only four colors of true formation were composed to create the collage.

Scientific Classification: Kingdom – Plantae; Clade – Angiosperms, Eudicots, Asterids; Order – Lamiales; Family – Plantaginaceae; Tribe –Antirrhineae; Genus –Antirrhinum (Source – Wikipedia) for correlation...
