Holligold 'Calendula'

A common annual herbaceous daisy winter flower plant from ‘Asteraceae’ family. The name Calendula derived from Latin word ‘calendae’ mean ‘little calendar’ or ‘little clock’, while its conveys language of ‘winning grace’. Also known as pot Marigold, Bulls eye, Holligold, interestingly turns in the direction of sun movement, used for medicinal and culinary purposes


Grow: It’s easy to grow Calendula from seeds or seedlings at pot or beds needs average well drained soil, prefers partial sunlight and moderate watering to have. Sometimes require pinching for bush shape, while the height becomes 1- 3 ft depending on the species. Now days the hybrid varieties are dwarf and give prolific bright durable flower heads, basically having orange, yellow and gold colors
