Lasting 'Helichrysum'

The genus Helichrysum is a winter flowering plant from ‘Asteraceae’ family also known as Straw flower. The name came from Greek words ‘helisso’ (roll together) and ‘chrysos’ (gold) classified as herb, native to Australia. The blooms are everlasting and retain their shape and color when dried, also comes in various colors

Grow: Easy grower plant, while Helichrysum prefer full sun to partial, accommodation at any type of soil, mild fertilizer and watering growth to ensure blooms. Most often placed on beds, now a day’s hybrid varieties with a range of shades is available to obtain seedlings from nursery during October. As soon as they get established after transplant they grow smoothly, the height of garden variety range up to 3 ft long
