Prolific 'Impatiens'

Updated: Apr 24, 2019

The name Impatiens came from Latin word also known as ‘touch me not a representative of Balsaminaceaefamily, which is an annual winter variety sub-succulent flowery plant suitable for any garden, with compact and busy blooms in multiple colours. Here is the recent blooming pictures. Also giving a link where I published a set of photographs on Impatiens from my growing experience during 2012

Grow: One of my favorite choice, best at pots and the identity is because of its natural busy character to bring out prolific blossoms abundantly and continuously. Usually, the seedlings sources from nursery and planted in a well drained enriched soil at partial sun exposure to have magnificent floral display. The plant height is within one feet and spread is unique. At the initial stage of planting adequate care and protection is required, including routine spraying from fungus and bacteria. The growth is slow, after acclimatization it goes freely

Scientific Classification: Kingdom – Plantae; Clade – Angiosperms, Eudicots, Asterids; Order – Ericales; Family – Balsaminaceae; Genus – Impatiens (Source- Wikipedia)- for correlation
